ROCKY HILL (November 5, 2018) – In early November 2018, 60 West’s Director of Dining Experience, Jim Scott, earned the distinction of Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) from the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals (ANFP).
According to their website, a Certified Dietary Manager has the education, training, and experience to competently perform the responsibilities of a dietary manager and has proven this by passing a nationally-recognized credentialing exam and fulfilling the requirements needed to maintain certified status.
CDMs are experts at managing foodservice operations and ensuring food safety. They are responsible for implementation of menus, foodservice purchasing, and food preparation. They apply nutrition principles, document nutrition information, manage work teams, and much more.
Jim has been with 60 West since its opening five years ago and is with Healthcare Services Group.
