March 10-14, 2025 is National Long Term-Care Administrator’s Week. During this week, staff, residents, families, and volunteers have the opportunity to say “thank you” and honor the administrators who lead our nation’s long-term care communities.

Meet Patrick Neagle, Administrator at Touchpoints Manchester. When asked to share a story of overcoming a challenge, Patrick reflected on the tumultuous days of the COVID pandemic. He described a time when projecting leadership and strength became crucial—even as uncertainty and self-doubt loomed large.
Patrick’s insight was clear: “Character is not built through adversity, it is revealed.” His experience during the pandemic not only shaped him into a stronger leader but also taught him how to inspire and motivate his team to overcome what felt like insurmountable obstacles. His resilience serves as a reminder that when we unite and persevere, no challenge is too great.
