MANCHESTER (March 25, 2024) – iCare Health Network is pleased to announce that Francis Lijadu and Mirja Tupas have joined the iCare clinical team. Francis re-joined iCare in December 2023 as a Regional Clinical Director overseeing Education, Infection Prevention and Transitional Care, including Touchpoints Rehab’s signature heart failure and pulmonary programs. Mirja joined Francis’ team as a Transitional Care Nurse overseeing the direct care, transitions through the care continuum and success of residents on the heart failure program.
Francis has nine years of nursing experience, working in long term care as a CNA, LPN and RN. He was formerly a Charge Nurse for iCare at Touchpoints at Bloomfield and then served as Transitional Care Nurse, Manager of Transitional Care Program and Director of Nursing for another organization before returning. Francis enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, bicycle riding, and basketball.
Mirja has been a nurse for 15 years, first as an LPN, then an RN. She worked as a Charge Nurse and Nursing Supervisor and has also functioned as an interim wound care nurse, staff development and heart failure nurse in different parts of her career before joining iCare. Mirja loves to travel and has been to 12 different countries.
Francis and Mirja are already heavily impacting iCare’s heart failure program, bringing quality care and enriching the lives of residents. On behalf of the iCare team, welcome aboard Francis and Mirja.
