HARTFORD (April 11, 2025) – On April 10, 2025, WFSB premiered a segment on Good Day Connecticut with Scot Haney highlighting Parkville Care Center’s ‘All Phase Limb Loss Program’.
Scot toured the facility and met with a resident on the program and the Therapy team in the Rehab Gym.

The program entails four phases of the process for residents with new limb loss: Pre-Procedure, Post Procedure Wound Care/Pain Management, Pre-Prosthetic Training and finally Prosthetic Training. Those with existing limb loss will have all of the same critical services and supports available to them but in a long term maintenance and functional improvement model.
