CNA Hyacinth Mallett Retires After Thirty-Nine Years of Service at Westside Care Center

On July 5, 2023, the team at Westside Care Center celebrated and recognized Hyacinth Mallett for her nearly 40 years of service to the residents of Westside. Hyacinth joined the team on October 30, 1984 after she completed CNA training at Gables Convalescent Home on Washington Street in Hartford. iCare Health Network's Clinical Education Team Holds Nursing Skills Day at The Keeney Center

On June 20, 2023, iCare Health Network’s clinical and education team held a Nursing Skills Day in a community space at The Keeney Memorial Cultural Center in Old Wethersfield. The session began with breakfast and a morning greeting and quickly moved into skills stations for nurses from around the iCare network. Five sessions focused on hands-on skills, discussion and education around new and existing techniques and equipment.
