Parkville Care Center and its All Phase Limb Loss Program Showcased on Telemundo's Acceso Total

Parkville Care Center’s post-amputation, All Phase Limb Loss Program was highlighted in the Spanish language program Acceso Total on Telemundo. The segment aired over the past week and will be replayed several times. In early October the team at Touchpoints at Farmington held a Harvest Festival for the residents and staff to enjoy. The Fall theme had the residents outside enjoying the fresh Autumn air in the pumpkin patch and experiencing the local leaf peeping. The residents played games like corn hole, giant Jenga, Connect Four and enjoying some sweet treats like cotton candy, fried dough and more. Great job, TAF Team!

Touchpoints at Chestnut's Morliana Evans' Makes the Journey from CNA to RN

Congratulations to Morliana Evans at Touchpoints at Chestnut! “Mo” started off at Touchpoints Rehab a decade ago as a Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) and after a short leave from the facility she returned as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and has been an excellent primary nurse on the long term care unit. She was such a good nurse and so on top of everything on her unit that multiple staff members encouraged her to go back to school to become a Registered Nurse (RN).
