During this week, staff, residents, families, and volunteers have the opportunity to say “thank you” and honor the Administrators who lead our nation’s long term care communities. A big thank you from all of us at iCare Health Network to our dedicated Administrator team. Front line clinical and other staff as well as Administrators from iCare Health Network provided testimony for State Legislators around adequate Medicaid funding and support for skilled nursing centers in Connecticut. Administrators Jaime Faucher of Touchpoints at Bloomfield, Ray Hackling of Silver Springs Care Center and George Kingston of Trinity Hill Care Center are pictured here providing testimony at the Legislative Office Building.

iCare Health Network is pleased and proud to offer spiritual support to our residents, families and staff through Joel Rissinger and his team at Corporate Chaplaincy Services (CCS). Pastor Joel and the other chaplains act as ‘spiritual cheerleaders’ for all staff and patients. They give special care to residents who are struggling with aspects of their lives as a result of substance use disorder. Recently, he and his team began providing those services to Parkville Care Center in Hartford.
