Due to pulmonary disease, I have had other recent hospitalizations and associated rehab stays. Both rehabs said they had pulmonary services but I ended but back in the hospital shortly after returning home. This time I spoke with my pulmonologist, Dr. John Rodgers, and he recommended Touchpoints Rehab. How wonderful to have “MY pulmonary team” at my side at the hospital and then again at Touchpoints at Farmington. Touchpoints will be my only choice from this day forward

As previously teased here, Touchpoints Rehab and iCare now have a commercial running on NBC in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. A special thanks again to our star, Touchpoints at Bloomfield’s Director of Nursing, Shanta Griffiths, and to the residents and staff at Touchpoints at Farmington for hosting the film crew and making the ad possible. Thank you also to NBC who has been excellent to work with.

NBC Connecticut shot a commercial for iCare and Touchpoints Rehab to air in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. It featured the very photogenic staff and residents of Touchpoints at Farmington, shot in the dining room, rehab gym, lobby, spa and resident rooms. Narration and framing came from Touchpoints at Bloomfield’s talented Director of Nursing, Shanta Griffiths. Keep an eye out for the commercial to roll when the Olympics kick off on February 9th on NBC.

It is a rare occasion where a skilled nursing facility resident comes back to the facility to join the team. But that’s exactly what happened with Touchpoints at Farmington resident Alina N. After rehabilitating for a broken leg that required physical therapy, Alina returned as a Recreation Assistant.
