  • In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Trinity Hill held a Pink Party to celebrate those individuals whose lives are affected by the disease, whether personally or through family members and friends. Staff and residents were encouraged to wear pink throughout the day, and our residents enjoyed a cupcake social with pink frosting.   • In recognition of National Recovery Month, Trinity Hill Care Center in Hartford held a ‘Super Recovery Day’ program on Wednesday, September 25th. The event was superhero themed to remind resident in recovery at Trinity Hill that, “no matter how tough the fight may be, we all have the powers within to overcome the battle.” The day began with a super power packed breakfast from followed by an awards ceremony where Certificates of Recognition were to residents in recovery.
  • Residents of Trinity Hill Care Center took part in an NFL Fantasy Draft Party with special guest, former New England Patriot, and New Britain native, Tebucky Jones! Residents ate football season fare while they built their fantasy teams.  Each resident who participated in the draft will be able to track the progress of their fantasy team during their stay and throughout the NFL regular season. The resident with the most points at the end of the season will win an NFL gift basket.
  • Trinity Hill took part in the early Summer prom season with their own Prom Night event for residents. The evening started with a nice dinner including chicken Marsala, baked potato, roasted broccoli, and Parmesan encrusted fish. After dinner, Trinity Hill residents danced the night away to up-tempo, rhythmic music provided by Trinity Hill’s own, DJ D-ron. The night was closed out with prom pictures and a social hour with residents and staff.
  • Trinity Hill Care Center residents and staff were treated to a visit by Toast and Dublin, new pet therapy golden retrievers, courtesy of Neil and Linda Clearly. The two friendly canines made their way through the care center to bring stress-relief and joy to those around them in a way that only pets can.
