Trinity Hill took part in the early Summer prom season with their own Prom Night event for residents. The evening started with a nice dinner including chicken Marsala, baked potato, roasted broccoli, and Parmesan encrusted fish. After dinner, Trinity Hill residents danced the night away to up-tempo, rhythmic music provided by Trinity Hill’s own, DJ D-ron. The night was closed out with prom pictures and a social hour with residents and staff.

Trinity Hill Care Center residents and staff were treated to a visit by Toast and Dublin, new pet therapy golden retrievers, courtesy of Neil and Linda Clearly. The two friendly canines made their way through the care center to bring stress-relief and joy to those around them in a way that only pets can. 

staff and their families from Chelsea Place, Parkville and Trinity Hill Care Centers represented iCare at the 2019 Greater Hartford Puerto Rican Day Parade and Festival. The iCare team marched in the parade from Wawarme Avenue, ending in Bushnell Park, decked out in matching t-shirts and regalia and accompanied by two decorated Jeeps. The day’s theme was Honrando el Pasado y Celebrando el Futuro; honoring the past and celebrating the future. 

As National Skilled Nursing Care Week 2019 passes through the midway point around the iCare Health Network care centers, the photos keep on rolling in. Today’s post has dozens of pictures from across the Network of all sorts of parties, events, celebrations and recognition. 

Front line clinical and other staff as well as Administrators from iCare Health Network provided testimony for State Legislators around adequate Medicaid funding and support for skilled nursing centers in Connecticut. Administrators Jaime Faucher of Touchpoints at Bloomfield, Ray Hackling of Silver Springs Care Center and George Kingston of Trinity Hill Care Center are pictured here providing testimony at the Legislative Office Building.
