Appreciation for Police, Fire and EMS on 9-11 from Touchpoints at Manchester and the IHN Family

It is hard to believe it has been 17 years since 9-11, but for those that witness and experience the service of dedicated public safety providers and first responders each and every day, the staff and residents at Touchpoints at Manchester wanted to make sure our they were reminded of just how much their work is appreciated. -
Robert L was discharged home from Touchpoints at Manchester having been a patient on the congestive heart failure rehabilitation program in collaboration with Saint Francis Hospital. To ensure successful rehab, shorten the length of stay and decrease the likelihood of hospital readmission, the CHF program entails a tailored approach to care including medication management, special diet, targeted therapies, and close monitoring of body weight and lab results.

Three Vietnam War Veterans Receive Connecticut Veterans Wartime Service Medal - Touchpoints at Manchester

Three veterans of the Vietnam War were given the Connecticut Veterans Wartime Service Medal on Tuesday at a ceremony at Touchpoints at Manchester. Cornelius Evans, Renaldo Victoria Jr. and Edward Delane Jr. were originally meant to get the medals at a June 8 event honoring veterans, but the medals had not arrived in time. Instead, they were able to celebrate Tuesday with other veterans as well as family and friends. -

In mid-June 2018, Touchpoints at Manchester received a very kind testimonial from a resident who received care at Touchpoints as a contracted VA facility. Touchpoints has been a VA contracted facility since September of 2017 and recently had a full Open House and Flag Retirement Ceremony to thank our Veterans in residence for their service and formally launch the program.
