Employees from multiple iCare Health Network centers won scholarships and several care centers were recognized at the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities 90th Annual Meeting, held on the north lawn of Mystic Seaport on July 11th. Many pictures in the post. 

Snickers the Pony came to visit residents from Touchpoints at Chestnut on July 4th. Snickers hails from Shag Bark Hickory Farm right in East Windsor and made the residents’ day with his presence. Mr. Snickers, as the farm calls him, makes frequent wardrobe changes and is happy to participate in activities. 

Touchpoints at Chestnut organized and celebrated a “Caribbean Week” full of events, food and parties.  One event saw staff members sharing their personal stories of life on their island and how they came to be here in Connecticut. National Skilled Nursing Care Week 2019 wrapped up on Saturday, May 18th. Around the iCare Health Network care centers, the photos kept coming in.
