At Touchpoints at Chestnut, as with many skilled nursing communities, there is much more to caring for residents than medical care and rehabilitation. Although short term rehab can be quite brief, stretching a few days to a few weeks, many residents call our communities their home. In order to foster the home like environment, provide stimulating activities and recreation and add to the overall quality of life, many other projects and initiatives have been woven into daily life.

The residents and staff at Touchpoints at Chestnut have decided to get in on this action and have their very own winter games with a twist, Some of the scheduled events include Figure Skating, Table Curling and Olympic Bingo. The first week has been a huge success with lots of laughs and smiles. Go team TAC!

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for everything you did for my mom, especially the last eight months when she needed you most.

We want to thank every one of you for the love and care you showed our Mom when she was with you…For every person who interacted with our mom during her stay with you, we say THANK YOU. You are doing more than just your jobs, you are impacting people’s lives for the better.

A live music fundraiser for Abby’s Helping Hand was held at Touchpoints at Chestnut on June 3rd and raised close to $800.
